Our opening session is the perfect way to begin the monthly series of conversations about Black representation in the GIS and Health and Wellness communities and industries. This exciting event offered a chance to hear from industry experts and learn more about what steps we can take to increase health equity and create welcoming environments for Black professionals.
Historic Black Communities: Preserving and Caring (2/15 3PM PST | 6PM EST)
Come learn how GIS is being used to preserve Black history! This exciting event will feature speakers who will share their experiences and examples of how GIS is being used to document and showcase historic black communities. Come to the Northstar Spotlight: MOSTEC Mapping Justice event to learn about how GIS is being used to fight for racial justice!
